So how can a salary earner achieve financial freedom? How much money do you need to break through the rat race?
Well, it depends on your lifestyle which determines your monthly expenses.
To get out of the rat race, Robert Kiyosaki suggested in his Rich Dad's book series that you have an active month income that is two times your monthly expenses.
1. Know your passive income level and the monthly expenses.
How much salary do you earn per month? What are the regular items you have to pay for?
2. Payoff your debt gradually while keeping a certain amount of cash in case you find a good opportunity to build active income.
Once you off the debt, you reduce your monthly expenses. Thus reduces the amount of active income you need to generate in order to get out of the rat race too.
3. Invest wisely.
