Lexus LM 300h arrives in Thailand, local price starts at RM 740,420

www.autofun.co.th---We told you earlier that the Southeast Asian version of the Lexus LM would be the first to arrive in Thailand as a single Hybrid, and now Thai media outlet Headlightmag has announced the local price of the new car.

As we have previously revealed, the Thai-spec Lexus LM 300h will be available as a 4- and 7-passenger model, and will cost a little more than the local Toyota Alphard/Vellfire, with the 7-passenger version priced at 5,500,000 baht (approx. RM 740.420) according to Headlightmag, 420), while the more luxurious four-seater version is priced at 6,500,000 baht (RM 875,040). It is worth noting that the Thai-spec Lexus LM will be sold in Thailand as a fully loaded CBU import.

As in the rest of the market, the Thai-spec LM 300h will be powered by a 2.5L natural intake hybrid engine with a combined maximum horsepower of 197 Hp, mated to Toyota's E-CVT transmission developed specifically for the hybrid model, which is claimed by the manufacturer to provide excellent torque performance, both for starting and acceleration. The Thai-spec LM 300h will also be available with the E-Four electronic all-wheel drive system.

The interior of the Thai LM 300h, as the South East Asian version, is also richly equipped, with the entry 7-seater version featuring 2+2+3 seats as in the Alphard/Vellfire, with a separate Captain Seat in the middle like a first class seat, and premium Semi The LM 300h is also available in a range of high quality Aniline leathers. Special vibration suppression technology has also been introduced to the LM 300h seats to make them more comfortable.

The 4-passenger version has a luxurious 4-passenger layout similar to that of the Alphard Royal Lounge, with an isolated, enclosed rear compartment that separates the front seats from the two large, first-class, freestanding seats in the back with a Mark Levinson® surround sound system with a built-in 26" TV and 17 speakers, and a small refrigerator with champagne underneath. A small fridge for champagne is also available underneath, and rear-seat passengers can control the interior functions via a touch panel set in the middle of the seat, providing the privacy of a VIP compartment.

In terms of safety features, the Thai-spec Lexus LM 300h is equipped with a full range of advanced active safety systems called Lexus Safety Sense, which includes active cruise control, automatic high and low beams, forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning and maintenance assistance. If this more luxurious high-end MPV comes to our market at a similar price, I believe it will be appreciated by many bosses and VIPs in China!
