In order to expand local business of Thai industrial sector to international level with strong foundation and sustainability by transferring the state-of-the-art technology and innovation from Japan to Thailand, as well as the cooperation from public & academic sectors and bilateral business counterparts from Thai and Japanese entrepreneurs, the Thailand–Japan Investment Promotion Project (TJ-SMEs) has been officially set up since August 1, 2013 on the purpose of strong will and various support from Thai and Japanese business networking through the Technology Promotion Association (Thailand-Japan) for being an extraordinary business and investment center and springboard for international business expansion based on reciprocal Thai and Japanese companies with business opportunities and negotiations. The TJ-SMEs is designed to encourage trade networking, business matching and also to create unique business and educational opportunities for two countries, Thailand and Japan.
